liam and the bees
genderfunky, queer folk-pop
This Part of the River is the Darkest Part out now!
liam is a 32-year-old social worker by day, rock star by night (and afternoon), living in Portland, ME. at the age of 21, he began learning the guitar and nothing has been the same since. liam & the bees' music fuses folk with the blues and a powerful, often playful, interpretation of pop-rock. liam's one-man- band approach to music results in fun, engaging shows that will leave you feeling lighter. liam also plays ukulele and uses found objects for percussion. liam has toured extensively. liam's gender, his passion for mental health advocacy, and his queerness are focal points in his work -- his music often bends, like his gender, like truth, like light.
